Around the Bay 300km

Ride features

Our new 300km loop ventures through Point Nepean National Park, adding car-free roads, unrivalled coastal riding and a touch of WWII history to the fully supported ride around Melbourne’s Port Phillip Bay.

You’ll tackle the famous Arthurs Seat climb with pristine views of the bay before a rewarding descent through fast-paced rolling hills towards Flinders. Rejoining the main ride at Dromana the final 50kms can’t be missed as you enjoy arguably the best of Beach Road on your return to Albert Park.

All 300km riders will be able to mark their achievement with an exclusive 300km finishers jersey when they cross the finish line in Albert Park.

Valet – free rider service

Valet is a free optional service for 200km+ riders passing through either Sorrento or Queenscliff. We'll transport an A4-sized satchel for you from the start line to your lunch stop. You can use it to carry a fresh kit, extra tubes or a favourite snack. You will also receive a second satchel so we can return your things back to Albert Park (return satchels will not arrive at Albert Park until after 3:30pm on Sunday).

Select 'valet' as an optional item during your registration and collect your valet bags from the Bicycle Network office during pack collection times. Please ensure any packed valet bags are also dropped off during rider pack collection times.

Return satchels not collected on-event will be brought back to the Bicycle Network office and can be collected between Wednesday 12 October – Wednesday 19 October 2022. All items not collected will be disposed of thoughtfully.
