Day 2 – Queenstown to Glenorchy (return)

Arrow right

The first day on the bike will be a challenging but breathtaking ride to Glenorchy with never ending views of Lake Wakatipu.

Activities & highlights

Enjoy breakfast overlooking Lake Wakatipu before hitting the road to Glenorchy with rolling hills and spectacular views the whole way.

Arrive in the rustic town of Glenorchy for lunch and a look around before making your way back to Queenstown by bike. If Glenorchy seems familiar, it’s because many movies and TV shows have been filmed there, including Lord of the Rings, X-Men and the Chronicles or Narnia.

If you’re caught by surprise at the challenging first day on the bike (with 1703 metres of climbing), you’re welcome to enjoy more of Glenorchy’s charm and take our complimentary transport back to Queenstown.

The evening is yours to explore Queenstown’s nightlife. Whether your style is fine dining, casual or boutique, Queenstown’s many bars and restaurants have you covered.
