New Parkiteer at Merinda Park Station

A brand-new Parkiteer secure bike parking cage is now opened alongside the newly rebuilt Merinda Park station.

The upgraded Merinda Park Station came as part of the Cranbourne Line Upgrade, with the modern station comprising of duplicated tracks, two new platforms, more shelter and a better layout.

The station can be accessed through the lifts, ramps and stairs, with a new direct entrance from the east side (Endeavour Drive).

Together with the new Parkiteer cage, there are also CCTV cameras and more lighting installed to improve safety for commuters, including a new pedestrian walkway built under the tracks to help improve connectivity to local schools, parks and shops.

A 4.25-kilometre shared cycling and pedestrian path is currently in the works, which will connect Lynbrook, Merinda Park and Cranbourne stations.
