A new date for National Ride2Work Day

Bicycle Network is excited to announce that this year’s National Ride2Work Day has a new date – Wednesday 10 November.

With many states anticipating 80% vaccination in early November, and more workplaces set to open up, the new date means many more of us will be able to pedal away from our home offices on the day.

Of course, like many things this year, National Ride2Work Day may look a little different due to varying COVID-19 restrictions around the country.

We are currently working with our partners and local authorities to see what type of events we can safely schedule to celebrate the day. But rest assured we plan to make sure this post-lockdown National Ride2Work Day is a truly special celebration of riding your bike to work.

And now is the perfect time to start thinking about how you might make the journey back to work. Whether you're a regular two-wheeled commuter or looking to start a new healthy habit, National Ride2Work Day is all about supporting your decision to jump on the bike.

You can make the commitment now by signing up for Ride2Work Day. Registering your ride is an important way to help us plan for whatever level of celebration we're able to deliver come November.

With more people riding more often we can all look forward to a better “post-pandemic” normal.
