Bicycle Network: The highlights (4625)
See your city in a completely different light this summer
The roll call of sites that this year's route takes in is huge, with almost every landmark in Melbourne part of the event, including:
The start line festival will kick off at 9:00pm, so get your face painted, grab a bite to eat, kick back and enjoy the atmosphere. We've also transformed some of our favourite Melbourne spots along the way, so you'll never know what surprises and delights might be around the corner. To give you a sneak peek and get you in the mood we've picked a few of our favourites from this year's lineup:
One half of Melbourne duo Slum Sociable, Edward Quinn will keep the tunes flowing as you prepare to Ride the Night.
Hula hoop workshops – Where's My Unicorn
Remember your younger days and the joy of picking up a hula hoop? Yes, it's still that much fun. Head to the start line festival from 9:00pm to combine fun and fitness in one of our energetic workshops.
Chloë Violette is a Melbourne based singer/songwriter. Her blend of folk, acoustic and indie-pop is achingly beautiful, hypnotic and raw.
Through her music, Chloë hopes to inspire others to seek out the ethereal beauty of Mother Nature… the flicker of a campfire on a summer evening, fireflies floating through the night sky, dandelions dancing in the wind, and above all else, gypsy girls who live their lives exactly as they please.
The perfect way to end your Ride the Night experience is to join us for a sunrise yoga class overlooking Albert Park lake at the event village. Clear your mind, stretch your muscles and reflect on the night. Classes will run from 2:00am to 6:00am.
Still haven't secured your place at Ride the Night? Don't worry, entries are still open!
