Volunteer – Peaks Challenge Falls Creek
Peaks Challenge Falls Creek is a 235km looping ride of Falls Creek, Tawonga Gap, Mount Hotham and Omeo. The event includes 4000+ metres of climbing and riders have a 13-hour deadline to complete the challenge.
Bicycle Network supports cyclists the entire way, providing full support at rest stops and on the route.
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to be part of the action! As part of the team you’ll help keep riders safe, motivated, hydrated and fed, while spending a weekend away in the beautiful Victorian Alps!

Space is limited by our accommodation availability so please, if you wish to get on board, please register your interest well in advance.
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to be part of the action! As part of the team, you’ll assist with registration and logistics ahead of the big day, help keep riders safe, motivated, hydrated and fed, while spending a weekend away in the beautiful Victorian Alps!
We have the following positions available:
Full Volunteer:
As a FULL VOLUNTEER you will be provided:
- Accommodation (lodge style with shared rooms)
- SAG Transport from specific pick-up points in Melbourne
- Full Catering
- Uniform (if required)
You will be available from Friday; 5th March through to Monday 8th March to fulfil multiple shifts over the course of the weekend.
Friends & Family:
We also have roles available for family and friends who are attending at Falls Creek who would like to join the team to assist Saturday prior to and/or on the day of the event. In this capacity you will provide your own accommodation, transport and catering. We will provide you with uniform if you require it.
Extended Full Volunteer:
We have a limited workforce we take to Falls Creek ahead of the big weekend to assist us with event village setup.
As an EXTENDED FULL VOLUNTEER, you will be provided:
- Accommodation (lodge style with shared rooms)
- SAG Transport from specific pick-up points in Melbourne
- Full Catering
- Uniform (if required)
You will be available from Wednesday; 3rd March through to Monday 8th March to assist with event setup and fulfil multiple shifts over the course of the weekend.
Dinner Plain Volunteer:
We always need more volunteers to assist us with our busiest rest stop on route. If you are staying within a reasonable distance to Dinner Plain and would like to help us here, you will need to get to Dinner Plain ahead of the road closures on event day and assist us with running the lunch rest stop.
We have a limited number of spots available for BN Volunteers to head up from Melbourne with our team but also would love to hear from you if you can assist us here at this rest area as a local or visitor to the nearby area.
As a one-day Dinner Plain volunteer we will provide you with uniform (if required) and lunch.
If you are travelling with the team from Melbourne, we will organise accommodation for you, transport and provide food. You will head to Dinner Plain on the Saturday prior to and back to Melbourne post event day.

Where: Roles are available in the main event site at Falls Creek Village and along the route including Tawonga Gap, Dinner Plain, Anglers Rest and Trapyard Gap.
