Super Sunday is Australia’s biggest survey of recreational travel. Held annually in mid-November, the count looks at how runners, walkers, bike riders and other recreational users move around

Why Super Sunday?

Give back to your community by raising money for your local charity, non-profit, school or other community organisation. Collect important data for your council to improve walking and cycling infrastructure in your area.

Volunteer

All volunteers receive $140 to put towards their Bicycle Network membership or donate to a local organisation or a charity of their choice. Volunteers also receive a free Bicycle Network t-shirt.

COVID-19 information

Volunteer counters will need to adhere to any coronavirus restrictions in place on 8 November in their local area.

The count will be able to be held in councils in metropolitan Melbourne during the third step out of coronavirus restrictions. If the third step is not reached by 8 November, the count will be postponed for councils in metropolitan Melbourne.
