Moonee Ponds Creek closure

Stage One works of the Reimagining your Moonee Ponds Creek Program commence on a section of the creek in Strathmore from Monday 22 August, resulting in a detour for riders.

During Stage One of the Program, construction on the existing footpath will begin along the Brosnan Crescent side of the creek. Works include the creation of two separated paths for pedestrians and cyclists to minimise collision risks.

As a result, the pathway will be closed from Monday 22 August and will be expected to reopen November 2022.

Works will take place from 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday and from 7am to 1pm Saturdays.

A detour will be in place for bike riders along Mascoma and Odin Street during this period.
