Bare Creek Bike Park open for business

A $2 million mountain bike park has opened at Belrose's Bare Creek on Sydney’s northern beaches.

Built for riders of all ages and skill, the bike park includes 1.6 kilometres of downhill bike trails, flow trails, skills and dirt jump areas. A pump track is available for groms who can then work through a progression zone before sending it on the advanced gravity trails.

Toilets, drinking fountains, bike maintenance stations and onsite parking is also available, making it a great spot for a full day out during the summer holidays.

The park was built on the site of an old tip. 80,000 cubic meters of crushed sandstone plus specialised clay was used to make the track. It was constructed by acclaimed mountain bike trail builder Dirt Art and designed with help from local mountain biking advocacy and consultancy group Trail Care.

The park is open daily from 7:00am to 7:00pm, however may close at anytime due to weather conditions (rain, wet track, high winds, fire danger). The pump track might stay open during other adverse weather conditions.
