salsa fork recall
Recall: Fork out of the Salsa

Forks fitted to some of the 2020 Salsa Cutthroat model have been recalled because they can fail.

Only the bikes with the letters containing CCAPG and CCCPG on the serial number on bike fork are affected.

The fork may crack or break.

If the bike frame fork cracks or breaks while a user is riding the bike, there is an increased risk of an accident or serious injury or death of the rider or bystanders.

Consumers should cease using the bike and should contact SCV imports to arrange a replacement fork or a credit.info@scvimports.com.au

Consumers should send SCV imports a photo of the bike frame fork serial number to confirm whether the forks and bikes are affected by the recall.

The serial number can be found on the frame. If the letter following P is something other than G, then that fork is not affected and is safe to use and/or sell.

The bike was sold by SCV Imports between 8 November 2019 to 31 July 2020.
