Ring Road Trail overpass back in action

Contractors have installed a temporary ramp at the Blaxland Avenue overpass on the M80 trail, reopening the connection over to the north-side of the freeway.

The old ramp has been removed to create space to construct the new noise walls, continue with widening the M80 Freeway and upgrade the Blaxland Avenue overpass early next year.

The temporary ramp will remain in place until mid–2021.

Riders are reminded that the Galada Timboore Trail from the M80 out to Craigieburn remains open despite the temporary detours in Thomastown as part of this project.

Follow the signs and you can get through to this Blaxland Ave overpass, or connect through to the M80 Trail east-bound.
