Commonwealth Games
Commonwealth Games green and gold cycling guide

The 21st edition of the Commonwealth Games has arrived, with more than 6,000 athletes from 71 countries gracing the shores of the Gold Coast.

With Aussie track cyclists Jessica Gallagher & Pilot Madison Janssen breaking the 200m Sprint record on the first day of action, there's plenty to look forward to.

While sports can come and go at the Commonwealth Games (like cricket's cameo at Kuala Lumpur in 1998), cycling has been a mainstay since a track cycling event was held in 1934, back when it was the British Empire Games.

Among the 23 separate sports at the Games, are three types of cycling: Road, Track and Mountain Biking (MTB).

36 Australians will be competing across all three cycling events, including five previous Commonwealth Games champions.

We've pulled together a quick guide with information on each discipline so you know when and where it is all happening.
