Connecting the commute with bike parking

Bike parking at bus stops and public transport hubs are helping connect commuter routes in and around Darwin.

By encouraging more people to ride to the bus stop, the government are effectively integrating their public transport network and increasing the catchment area for each public transport stop.

Commuters can now easily park their bikes, hop on the bus and continue their journey with ease.

If you are going to park your bike on any rail, make sure you use a good quality lock. We recommend a D-lock for maximum security.

If you're the owner of a folding bike you can take it with you on public buses in Darwin and Alice Springs.
