Geddes St cycleway proposal
Shape the design of the Green Square connector

The City of Sydney are inviting the public to have their say on a review of environmental factors for a new road to be known as the Green Square to Ashmore Connector at Alexandria.

The road will also include a separated cycleway connecting Geddes Avenue, in the Green Square town centre, with Bowden Street in Alexandria, and linking to Botany Road, O’Riordan Street and Bourke Road.

The aim of the project is to improve access for people who walk and ride while improving the liveability of the corridor.

Work is expected to start in 2019 and be completed by 2020 and the exhibition is open for public comment until 5pm Friday 2 February 2018

You can access the exhibition here or you can view printed copies during opening hours at:

  • One Stop Shop, Level 2, Town Hall House, 456 Kent Street, Sydney
  • Green Square Neighbourhood Service Centre, 100 Joynton Avenue, Zetland
  • Redfern Neighbourhood Service Centre, 158 Redfern Street, Redfern.
