Super Sunday Recreation Count
Super Sunday, Super Tuesday's little sibling, is our newest bike count tool, offering visual counts and qualitative surveys on recreational bike paths and shared trails.
Super Sunday Recreation Count 2012
23 November. The third annual Super Sunday recreation count took place on Sunday 11 November from 9am to 1pm at over 100 locations across sixteen municipalities in Victoria.
Early results indicate a strong increase in trail user numbers on the paths and trails included in the count compared to the previous year. This annualised growth ranged from 25% to 300% with bikes making the largest percentage of trail users.
12 November. It was a glorious day on Super Sunday. Despite the many events being held in Melbourne on the same day, there were still many people out enjoying the warm sunny day. As always, Super Sunday would not be possible without the dedication of many volunteers who willingly give up their Sunday morning to collect the important data. We say “thank you” and appreciate your commitment and continued support of this event.
