Ella Cycling Tips training ride
Every Tuesday for the month of June

Time: 6:00am
Location: Kew Boulevard and surrounds
Meeting spot: Near the corner of Walmer and Victoria St, Abbotsford, toward the Walmer St bridge over the Yarra
Ride Leaders: Ella Cycling Tips ambassadors
Distance: One hour ride with plenty of climbing
Level: Intermediate/Advanced
Extra notes:
* If weather conditions result in ride cancellation a post will be put out on the Ella CyclingTips Instagram account on Monday night
* This is not a coaching ride or skills session, but is a friendly group to go and roll at a solid pace with in order to add some extra hilly kilometers to your weekly total. It tackles the Yarra Boulevard and some extra surrounding steep pinches.

Location: Beach Road, St Kilda
Meeting spot: Soul Kitchen,  Marine Parade, St Kilda

Distance: 28km
Pace: 25km/h to 28km/h
Level: Beginner

* To note this ride is open to people on dropped bar road bikes only
* This is a no drop ride

Ride Leaders: SKCC ride leader
Distance: 28km
Pace: 32-35km/h
Level: Inter/Advanced
Extra details: 
* To note this ride is open to people on dropped bar road bikes only .
* Any rider joining must be competent in a bunch and have basic maintenance/ tube changing skills as it is not a no-drop ride
* Post ride coffee will be at Soul Kitchen

Wheel Women training ride - Lets Get Moving Ride

Distance: 30km 
Description: A flat route for those new to riding or those wanting a cruisey spin. Distance of 30km return to Williamstown return and suitable for those trying to build confidence riding with groups. Will be path and road, but for those less confident there will be a path only group. 
Level: Entry level riders able to ride 25km plus to Intermediate riders

WWOW training ride
Saturday 24th June 2017

Time: 9:30am
Meeting spot: Finns Reserve, Templestowe, Melw. 33 A 4 / Finn's reserve is located in Lower Templestowe. Coming up North on Thompsons Rd., cross the intersection with Foote St./Templestowe Rd.  (nos. 42/52) and keep driving straight North onto Union St. Look to your left for a sign to Finn's Reserve or for Duncan St. which leads to the car park
Location: The aim is to encourage females to get out on their bikes, in a relaxed and non- competitive atmosphere. The rides will cover a distance of approximately 30 kilometers or more, returning to the starting place. There will be a mid-morning stop for coffee, that will provide an opportunity to get to know the other riders in the group

Distance: 35km at an easy pace

Description: This special training ride is for all the females that are training up for the Great Victorian Bike Ride. Come and meet other like minded women that have registered into the event and the ride leaders of the event too. We will pedal down to Mordialloc and back and enjoy a post ride coffee, giving everybody the opportunity to get to know each other and to ask any questions you may have around the event

Description: Bicycle Network visits Traralgon to offer local women the opportunity to build their skills and confidence on the bike. This awesome free event will include a basic skills workshop, a short 10km group ride and some refreshments after the ride. Riders of all abilities are welcome.

Description: A flat route for those after a lovely spin on the road to Altona, group ride for more accomplished riders, but still catering to those feeling a bit daunted by fast road rides. Expected speed of around 22-25kmphr. Road bikes only for safety reasons.
Level: Intermediate riders comfortable on the road able to handle 35km

Description: A flat route but let’s take this one up a notch and travel at a faster speed. We’ll head down Beach Rd to as far as we can travel in the time frame. Path and road and road bikes only. Riders must be comfortable on the road, expected speed of about 25kmphr. Road bikes only for safety reasons
Level: Intermediate riders comfortable on the road able to handle 35km
