Saturday 3 March

Registration and rider briefing

The Newcrest Orange Challenge event village at the Orange Velodrome at Moulder Park will be open from 12:00pm to 5:00pm on Saturday for kit collection and rider briefing. Here’s a quick snapshot of what you’ll need to get done so you’re prepared for Sunday.

1. Kit collection

If you didn’t get your rider kit posted you can collect it at the event village. It includes mandatory items for the ride.

2. Jersey

Riders who entered during the early bird period can collect their bonus jersey. Jerseys will also be available to buy.

3. Valet service

170km riders will need to pack and drop off their valet bags at the event village. There is no valet bag drop off on Sunday.

4. Rider briefing

Riders will need to attend the rider briefing at 5:00pm on Saturday for detailed information about the ride on Sunday.

Bicycle Network members lounge

Bicycle Network members will also have a special opportunity on Saturday to meet the team of wave leaders and settle any pre-ride nerves.

Ride Day

The day has arrived – you’ll set off on your journey through Central West NSW, and take in everything that the region has to offer!

70km ride

Starts in Orange at 7:00am and rides to Canowindra. Click here for route and transport details.

Buses depart Orange at 7:45am for a 10:00am start in Canowindra. Click here for route and transport details.

170km ride

Looping ride starts in Orange at 7:00am and has a 9-hour time limit. Click here for route details.
