Join the Great Vic Bike Ride
The perfect school camp
Give your students the chance to experience a school camp like no other at the Great Vic Bike Ride. You’ll join us for 9, 5 or 3 days of riding as we visit Australia’s greatest outdoor art gallery, the art silos of Western Victoria, and the majestic Grampians.
The Great Vic gets students outside and active, develops camaraderie, independence, resilience and teaches the value of achievement.
You’ll take away students excited for an adventure and return with a group of resilient people united by a life achievement. You’ll also find that with a growth in maturity, school performance also improves.

“There’s a really strong sense of achievement that they (the kids) get out of that challenging experience.”
“It enabled us as teachers to develop a rapport with some of the kids for whom school was a bit challenging. This was an event where they could get in there and be really physical and really active. That had a spin-off in terms of getting alongside those kids and getting engaged with them more.”

We do the work
Bicycle Network takes care of everything including campsites, food, medical and mechanical assistance and full on-route support so all you need to worry about is having an amazing time with your students, parents and teachers.
Campsites also have special entertainment, sporting equipment, food trucks, retailers and an environment like no other.
Activities for students
- Games – once students arrive back at the campsite they can continue the fun with one of the many games Bicycle Network’s Ride2School team provide, with everything from cricket to bocce.
- Yoga – daily classes for students to relax and unwind.
- Chill space – an undercover area where students have their own space to relax, play games or even kick back and listen to some tunes.
