Great VIC bike ride

Local community groups

Every year, Great Vic riders vote ‘community spirit’ as the one thing that most shaped their experience on the event. They love the warm welcomes, the local hospitality and the opportunity to truly discover the very best that regional Victoria has to offer.

To help you get involved and make sure your community makes the most of the event, we’ll work closely with you to ensure you enjoy the Great Vic experience as much as our riders do.

Quirky towns

The hosts of Great Vic

One of the best things about the Great Vic Bike Ride is pedaling through towns you would have never thought to visit or probably even heard of.

Places like Tallangatta with a population of just over 1000 people and the rich history of Glenrowan and Beechworth bring a unique vibe to the ride that you simply cant find anywhere else.

School groups

School students on the Great Vic bike ride

The Great Vic is an ideal school camp environment. Building resilience and leadership, the ride provides students with a challenging yet fun experience and the chance to engage and build relationships with people from all age groups and walks of life.

As a school camp it is unique. We take care of food, campsites, medical and provide full on-route support allowing schools to focus on education and developmental goals.
