Lunch Selection

In 2017 we are giving you more options for the Newcrest Orange Challenge.

All 170km riders will need to select where they would like to collect their lunch from: either at Canowindra 72km into the ride, or Mandurama at the 117km mark.  Whichever site you don't choose will have a range of cakes, slices, lollies and fruit for you to fuel up on.

To update your selection please follow the steps below.

  • Visit the Bicycle Network website and LOGIN
  • If you have forgotten your LOGIN please send us an email

All 70km participants will need to collect their lunch back at Moulder Park, Velodrome. A range of snacks including fruit and cakes will be available at Canowindra while you wait for the bus.

By entering your Strava ID when you register, Bicycle Network can provide you with an official event certificate with all of your riding data post-event.  If you have a cadence sensor we'll even tell you how many pedal strokes you took.

Your Strava ID number is found when you are on Strava on the web and click on your rider profile.  The numbers at the end of the web address is your Strava ID Number eg: https://www.strava.com/athletes/xxxxxx

If you don't have a Strava account you can get one here.

A few tips to remember when using Strava:

  • If using your phone remember to open the app and hit start before you cross the start line and then stop after you cross the finish.  REMEMBER TO SAVE IT
  • If you're using a compatible GPS device, remember to upload the activity/data within 72 hours of the event to receive your certificate.
  • Don't worry about starting your app or GPS device too early (even from when you leave home or your hotel) or stopping it too late as we have the timing/segments starting just after the start and finishing just before the finish, so your certificate will remain accurate
  • If you have cadence, heart rate and power synced to your device we'll be giving you stats on this too.
