Recall: frames break on eZee e-folder

The eZee Viento Folding Electric Bicycle has been recalled because the frame can break during use.

If the frame breaks while riding the rider could be seriously injured.

The bicycle has 20-inch wheels and a battery fitted to the rear rack.

Consumers should immediately stop using the product and contact their place of purchase to arrange a replacement of the bicycle frame.

The bike was on sale nationally from 1 January 2015 to 1 January 2020.

It was available online and from the following traders:

  • Perth Electric Bicycle Centre
  • Pushys Canberra
  • Velo Electric and Folding – Melbourne

  • Teros – Hobart
