Police investigate rider fatality in Yarraville

Police are seeking information regarding a collision between a truck and a bike rider in Yarraville on Wednesday evening.

Emergency services were called to reports of a collision between a truck and a rider on Whitehall Street about 5:10 pm on 13 July.

The rider was treated by ambulance crew but he died at the scene.

The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.

The collision occurred towards the south end of Whitehall Street between Francis Street and Sommerville Road, not on the Whitehall Street bike route.
