Rail service disruptions in July

Riders who take their bikes will face disruptions this month as buses replace trains on lines where upgrades are underway.

Bus replacement services will not carry bikes unless folded and in a bag.

On the Pakenham-Cranbourne Line there will be almost continuous interruptions from Caulfield to Westall with buses replacing trains after 8 or 8:30 pm on 18 evenings during the month.

On the Sunbury line between Sunshine and Sunbury buses will operate from 8;30pm to last service for one night, 7 July, and for thee nights from 11 July to 13 July.

On the Frankston and Stony Point lines buses will replace trains between Moorabbin, Frankston and Stony Point from 8.30pm Friday 8 July to last service Sunday 10 July while work is underway the Neerim Road and Glen Huntly Road level crossing removals in Glen Huntly.

From Friday 8 July until late August, express trains on the Frankston Line will be replaced with trains stopping all stations

Trains and connecting buses, trams and Stony Point Line trains will be maintained throughout.

Trains will not be stopping at platform 3 for all stations between Glenhuntly to Moorabbin. Frankston bound (from City) trains will depart from platform 2 while city bound trains will continue to use platform 1.
