Sunbury Line upgrade disruptions

Riders are reminded that upgrades along the Sunbury rail line will continue to create minor disruptions to bike routes.

Note that although the worksite at Albion Station carpark may appear to have closed the trail through the car park to Sunshine Station, it remains open.

There will be new cabling placed underground through the car park area.

Signage should be in place soon, if not already.

There are also works for new substations at Albion, St Albans Road and Ginifer underway until 2023.

Riders would have been previously advised of the works in St Albans Road, Sunshine North that have closed the trail along the rail line.

Riders should continue to use the temporary traffic signals to cross to the other side of the road at the M80.
