Have your say on Taylor Street, Toowoomba

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is investigating ways to create a safe, direct and connected bike route on Taylor Street, Toowoomba.

Taylor Road is a busy route used by hundreds of heavy vehicles daily, so the safety of bike riders is a serious concern, and separated infrastracture should be investigated.

The proposed bike route stretches between Boundary Street and Tor Street.

You can have your say by dropping a pin on the interactive map, and by taking a short survey here.

"TMR would like to hear from the community about whether you would choose active transport if safe, easy and enjoyable infrastructure was provided. Your feedback will be used to help determine which riding facilities will best suit the community," states the website.

Submissions will be open until 24 September 2021.
