Charges follow Springvale bike crash

Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit have now charged a man in relation to a collision on 11 February this year on the Princes Highway, Springvale in which a bike rider was killed.

A 55-year-old Noble Park man, who is alleged to have been driving the vehicle, has been charged with culpable driving, dangerous driving causing death, reckless conduct endangering life, reckless conduct endangering serious injury and careless driving.

As this matter is now before the courts, we are unable to comment any further while the judiciary performs it’s vital role. We will of course monitor the outcome of the case.

Our deepest sympathies are with the rider and his loved ones.
