Road works to relocate utilities for the West Gate Tunnel project will result in minor detours through Spotswood over the coming months.
Between now and the end of September Simcock Avenue will be one-way only, and a section will be closed completely for five days in mid-August.
Simcock Avenue is often used as a connection by riders who head south to Williamstown on Hall Street, along the rail line.
That route will still be available as riders can detour via Hudsons Road and Booker Street.
