Plea for St Kilda crash witnesses

Dear members and friends,

We write this plea for your help with a very heavy heart.

One of our members currently lays in hospital in the most serious condition. It appears he was the victim of a hit-run.

At this stage, the person driving the vehicle hasn’t been located. Nor have all the key witnesses.

The bike riding community looks after each other and we’d greatly appreciate your help finding the driver.

The crash occurred on 30 June at approximately 6.10am on Marine Parade, St Kilda.

Police investigators are looking for the driver of a trade vehicle towing a large white trailer who stopped near the collision.

If you saw anything, if you were one of the people who kindly assisted and comforted our member, or if you know someone who was there, please contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report via www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.

If you don’t know anything you can still help. Please circulate this message on all your channels.

And if you were driving the white trade vehicle and collided with our member, for goodness sake, turn yourself in to the police.
