Greensborough Road path closure for North East Link works

North East Link early works are set to start, and as a result the off-road path alongside Greensborough Road will be closed between Lower Plenty Road and Drysdale Street.

Starting from Thursday 3 December, the closure will be in place for up to six months.

A detour will be set up using Erskine Road and Drysdale, Wilmott, Finlayson and Silk streets. The map below shows detour options.

The work being done involves relocating water services on the western side of Borlase Reserve.

While detours such as this can cause a little bit of pain, there is some gain for bike riders from the North East Link project.

The missing link in the Greensborough Road path between Grimshaw Street and Yallambie Road will be filled in, which is one of a number of projects making up more than 25 kilometres of new and upgraded riding and walking trails.

If you have any questions or comments about these works please contact the North East Link Project team on 1800 105 105 or NorthEastLinkEarlyWorks@cpbcon.com.au.
