Hunter's Hill bike plan seeks rider input

Hunter's Hill Council in the Lower North Shore of Sydney is preparing a new bike plan and currently seeking community engagement and consultation.

The consultation period will run until June 8 2020, supported by the recently formed Bike Plan Working Group comprised of six local residents who are passionate about bicycling as a form of active transport.

The community engagement and consultation phase gives locals access to a map of the area where you can add comments, ideas or suggestions to improve riding conditions in the area. You can also see comments from others and like or dislike them.

Some of the current comments includes identifying narrow stretches of footpath, dangerous surfaces, dodgy intersections and areas where more bike parking is needed.

You can check out the map and have your say here.

Click on ‘See Project Map’, and drag one of the three coloured markers to the location you which to discuss.
