Ride the ChIPS Cycle-logical Challenge

Melbourne Royal Children’s Hospital’s ChIPS (Chronic Illness Peer Support) program is holding a special event at Preston velodrome to raise money to send young people living with chronic illness on a medically supervised camp.

The challenge is to ride as far as you can around the velodrome, either as an individual or a team, and raise $600 for ChIPS.

10 hours of riding is the main challenge, but there are also 3 and 6 hour options.

ChIPS hopes to raise $15,000 to send 25 ChIPPERS on a camp.

Preston velodrome only has a small slope, and is off road, so riders of almost any ability are able to join the challenge.

The challenge is on Saturday 26 October and you can register here. Once registered, you or your team will be able to set up a fundraising page where people can donate.
