Help with distracted driving research

VicRoads is looking for help from drivers who use mobile phones.

Many bike riders also drive and may have important insights to provide.

If you have a Victorian driver licence, own a smartphone and drive at least once a week, VicRoads want to know your thoughts around mobile phone rules and use.

In collaboration with Monash University Accident Research Centre (MUARC), it has sponsored a PhD student to tackle mobile phone caused distraction whilst driving.

The online survey asks Victorian licence holders about their smartphone habits and what factors influence the likelihood of them using a phone while driving.

You can take the survey here!

This research will help VicRoads develop and enhance effective and fair countermeasures to illegal mobile phone use whilst driving.

The survey is anonymous and will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.

To thank you for helping with the research, upon completing the survey you will be eligible to enter the draw to win one of four $100 cash prizes.
