Traffic delays on the Mount Dandenong Tourst Road
Dates: Monday 17 September to Friday 28 September

Drivers are warned to expect possible traffic delays from Monday 17 September to Friday 28 September when travelling along Mt Dandenong Tourist Road.

Over the next few weeks hazardous trees will be removed within the first two metres of the road verge to prepare the site for spring planned burning. Works will occur only on weekdays, between 9.00am and 3.30pm.

Hazardous trees can pose a significant safety risk to members of the public who drive or walk in this area, especially during storms, bushfires and after planned burning. They are also a risk to firefighters, other emergency services and to park rangers.

For the latest information about when planned burns are happening near you go to www.ffm.vic.gov.au/plannedburn, download the Vic Emergency app or call the VicEmergency hotline on 1800 226 226.

Brunswick: Upfield Bike Path – Jewell Train Station
