Sladda’s snap recall

IKEA’s flat pack Sladda bike has been recalled because the drive belt can snap suddenly.

The bike, was available in 28 inch and 26 inch models, had a belt drive rather than a chain.

If the belt drive on the bicycle snaps while in use, it could potentially cause injury.

Customers that have a Sladda bicycle should stop using it and return it to any IKEA store for a full refund. Accessories specifically designed to fit with Sladda will also be refunded.

The bike was exclusively sold at IKEA stores nationally between 1 August 2016 and 26 January 2018.
