How will you celebrate World Bicycle Day?

Earlier this year the United Nations declared 3 June as World Bicycle Day to give the two-wheeled-wonder the recognition it deserves.

The UN want the world to celebrate the uniqueness, longevity and versatility of the bicycle and promote it as a simple, affordable, reliable, clean, sustainable and fun means of transportation.

Share your celebrations and win!

Recently, there's been a fair bit of negativity and online bullying aimed at people riding bikes. It's choking our radio airways and it's all over social.

We think it's time to turn the tide.

This Sunday, on World Bicycle Day, let's try flood social with nothing but positivity about why riding a bike is one of the best ways to get around.

Whether you go for a ride or even give your bike a nice tune up, we want you to share how you're celebrating World Bicycle Day. And we'll even throw in a sweetener.

Share your pics from this weekend by tagging Bicycle Network on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and use #WorldBicycleDay and you'll go in the running to win one of three World Bicycle Day packs*.

The pack (valued at $145.35) includes:

  • Bicycle Network jersey from HUB
  • Reid mini pump
  • Reid front white light
  • Reid pulsar dual LED tail light
  • 20 x Clearwipe Antifog lens cleaners

Terms and Conditions apply.

The competition will run from Saturday 2 June until midnight Sunday 3 June, 2018. We'll pick and announce the winners on Monday 4 June.
