Ride2Work
#NightmareCommute Day? Not if you Ride2Work.

Australian's are being asked to share their terrible commuting stories tomorrow on social media using #NightmareCommute to highlight how horrible getting to work is.

We think there is a better option, however. Rather than worrying about making the lights or touching on properly and grasping for the hand rail as the train or bus lurches forward, #Ride2Work instead.

Riding to work is always a better option than driving – you'll improve your health, save time, save money and even increase productivity at work.

A 5km to 10km ride to work will only take 15 to 30 minutes on average and peak-hour city trips up to 10km are generally faster by bike than any other form of transport, door to door. People that ride to work also save thousands of dollars every year.

Let's see if we can convince the country that bikes are a better option and that there's no such thing as a nightmare commute – share your stories and photos from your commute by bike tomorrow using #Ride2Work.

Getting on your bike tomorrow will also help you get into gear in the lead up to National Ride2Work Day on Wednesday 18 October.
