The final Peaks Challenge Cradle Mountain
If you’ve ever wanted to experience the spectacular landscapes, brutal climbs and unpredictable climate of Peaks Challenge Cradle Mountain, then this is your final chance.

Despite strong feedback from previous riders, small rider numbers and a lack of interest this year has meant that Peaks Challenge Cradle Mountain on Sunday 5 November will unfortunately be the last.

Since our first ride into the rugged wilderness of Tasmania’s North West, we knew the Peaks Challenge Cradle Mountain route was special.

In only two years, the ride found itself ranked as one of the top six utlimate cycling sportives and gran fondos world, cementing its reputation as one of Australia’s toughest bikes rides.

Riders also told us they loved it – a hidden gem that promised to test your resolve as you battle burning legs, unpredictable climbs and an unforgiving deadline.

But sadly, we can’t seem to recapture the interest or enthusiasm that we had in the past. In its third year, only 200 riders have signed up for the challenge.

We know that demand and tastes change and sometimes you’ve simply got to call it.

So as we head back to the drawing board, scouring the country for the next peaks-worthy location, we encourage everyone who has ever wanted to push themselves beyond their limits, to enter Peaks Challenge Cradle Mountain now.

Let’s make the final Peaks Challenge Cradle Mountain one to remember.
