Active travel is a great way for students of all ages to meet their recommend daily dose of 60 minutes of physical activity every day.

Physical activity is one of the most important factors in disease prevention in Australia—over the past 40 years, the number of children who are physically active every day has significantly declined. When compared to figures in the 1970s, 8 out of 10 students rode or walked to school.

Today the national average is only 2 out of 10.
