Bicycle Network: Volunteer (172)
Volunteer with Bicycle Network
We like to think of our amazing team of volunteers as the super domestiques of this organisation and there’s no question Bicycle Network wouldn’t be where it is today without the support of these superheroes!
Volunteers are involved in every part of what we do – from serving on the board, to running our workshop, assisting in the office or helping out a team on a project basis – although the vast majority of our volunteers get involved on our many events throughout the year. There are always a variety of fun roles to choose from.
Our goal is to offer opportunities that allow volunteers to make a significant contribution not only to the organisation but to be a part of something that makes a real difference to them and to the wider community.
Some volunteer to gain experience or to get an insight into delivering a bike event, whereas others just want to help out, meet some friends, and be a part of something exciting! There really is something for everyone so why not give volunteering a go and join this amazing team.
The easiest way to sign up is to create a profile in our volunteer portal and pick yourself a shift. You can also sign up to our newsletter to keep up-to-date with volunteer news and promos.
Upcoming volunteer opportunities
Volunteer applications are currently open for:
On October 9, in Melbourne over 400 amazing volunteers will not only be supporting 10,000 riders pedal around our bay but deliver an event that raises much needed funds for the Smith Family to help kids fight the cycle of disadvantage. It’s a really special day to be a part of.
From November 26 to December 4 this 10-day rolling bike festival will be kicking off in Halls Gap, finishing in Geelong and taking in the sights of the Great Ocean Road! There’s no question that this will be an adventure to remember AND with free transport, meals and accommodation covered, why not think of it as a mini-holiday on the cheap?
If you have any further questions about our program please get in touch. You can drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call on 1800 639 634. We’d love to hear from you!
