Come join the team!

There’s no question Bicycle Network would be where it is today without the support of our amazing team of volunteers; they really are the superheroes of the organisation!

Volunteers get involved in every part of what we do – from serving on the board, to running our workshop, assisting in the office or helping out a team on a project basis – although the vast majority help out on our many events throughout the year.

Our goal is to offer opportunities, which allow volunteers to make a significant contribution, not only to the organisation but to be a part of something that makes a real difference.

Want to gain experience or get an insight into delivering a bike event? Looking to help out, meet some friends, and be a part of something exciting? There really is something for everyone so why not give volunteering a go and join this phenomenal team.

Upcoming opportunities:

From November 26 to December 4 this 10-day rolling bike festival will be kicking off in Halls Gap, finishing in Geelong and taking in the sights of the Great Ocean Road! There’s no question that this will be an adventure to remember AND with free transport, meals and accommodation covered, why not think of it as a mini-holiday on the cheap. (Due to popularity, there are just a few roles left! Make sure that you get in contact quickly if you're keen to join the Great Vic team!)

If you love bikes and Melbourne after dark, why not join us when the nocturnal festivities return on January 28. There will be entertainment, local artists, food trucks, light shows and games and we're looking for an enthusiastic crew to bring the fun to this very unique event. YSAS are the event's charity partner, so not only will it be a great night out, by volunteering you'll help brighten the future of youth experiencing disadvantage.

If you're keen for a weekend of bikes in the gorgeous - and delicious - Central West tablelands of NSW, we suggest that you put March 5 in the diary! The one-day classic will be again taking to the picturesque country roads around Orange but this year, local foodies will be joining us at the finish line for a Food and Wine Festival nobody will want to miss.

To apply for any of these opportunities you'll need to create a profile (or login) to our portal at www.bicyclenetwork.com.au/volunteerportal. Click on the event and pick yourself a shift; it's that easy! We suggest signing up to our newsletter to keep up-to-date with events, news and promos.

If you have any questions about our program please get in touch. We’d love to hear from you! Drop us a line at volunteer@bicyclenetwork.com.au or 1800 639 634.
