Changed Traffic Conditions
Due to the high number of cyclists taking part in the ride, there will be a number of closed roads and areas of changed traffic conditions in the Victorian Alpine Region.

Cyclists will begin to depart the Falls Creek village at approximately 6.45am on Sunday 9 March, 2014. The last rider will cross the finish line at 8:15pm, signaling the end of the event. During the event, we request your co-operation and patience for the safety of all road users and event participants.
Expect significant delays on the Great Alpine Road between Harrietville and Mount Hotham.
In addition to the road closures there will be other areas of changed traffic conditions. If you must travel in areas where there are a large number of cyclists on the road, Bicycle Network asks that you please remember to:
• Obey all road rules and follow traffic controller instructions (where applicable)
• Allow plenty of clearance when overtaking cyclists
• Be aware of oncoming traffic when overtaking cyclists
• Allow ample travel time as the average cyclists will ride between 20-35 km/h
