Bicycle Network: Where to Ride
Scotchman's Creek Trail
Election opportunity for candidates to show support
22 August 2012 Bicycle Network has identified this project as a local council priority for the 2012 Local Government election. Candidates should be ready to support the development and full or partial funding of this project in conjunction with State Government and can tell riders in their Council area their position by posting their candidates' statement at VoteBike.
The Scotchman's Creek Trail runs from East Malvern railway station through to the picturesque Jells Park. Several sections of the route are on local roads. The trail provides links to Chadstone Shopping Centre and Holmesglen Institute of TAFE. The 11 kilometre sealed path bisects the municipality of Monash into Northern and Southern sections.
There are links to other trails, including Gardiners Creek trail at East Malvern Station and the Dandenong Creek Trail at Jells Park.
