He gave way to myself and Gus after deadmans, and by that stage we had collected a few more riders including Kelvin, Bowl and the Gorilla. On Whitehorse we passed a group of riders who were somewhat disorganised, 3 wide and a bit erratic, who then caused a little chaos in the mix. I know one of the guys so have asked he speak to the other Salvo riders to teach them about group riding safely, but he also commented some of us were a bit erratic on the brakes as well. We have a fair few new faces recently, let's make sure everyone knows group riding skills and keep everyone safe.
After turning into Doncaster Kelvin took the lead lead and I enjoyed drafting the gorilla barely having to turn the cranks much to Gobsecs, dismay who had a much smaller windbreak ahead of him. Got back around 6.53 just between the rabbit group split in two
Was this the mouse or the hounds group?
Reading this I am bloody glad I didn't come out.
It's ok Kaz, people are confused as to what group they are in - the groups are getting faster and people forget to change the name.
Rod, Suzie and I had an absolutely magic ride this morning at a beautiful *actual* mice pace - we got back to MR just on 7am.
If the weather holds I may be riding again on Thursday.
