Some links to race coverage are available on the Melbourne Gravel Grinders site along with a short pre race briefing from Jesse Carlsson.
The race coverage is pretty good considering it is an event with no spectators. Whats really impressive though is the effort the leaders are putting in with 200 plus miles every day through the Rockies, Tetons etc, self supported.
It makes the Warnie look like a but of a training ride really.
Jesse Carlsson was knocked off his bike by a lightning strike
yesterday but has apparently recovered and has continued so props to him. I would have thought that a 200 mile lead over third place would be enough breathing space to bit more of a rest or even see a doctor but that's me.
