Believe it or not, people come onto this bicycle-related forum for advice and facts on things bicycle-related. And, believe it or not, some people on this Forum know a fair bit about bicycles and the Bicycle Industry in generalrearviewmirror wrote:Since you're a little hard of reading let me help you out. I have worked in Sales and Repairs in the Bicycle Industry for a number of years, and it is of my opinion that if there is any evidence that this frame has been deemed to have been "damaged by misuse/damaged by an external clamping force/damaged by anything other than normal use", then it will NOT be covered by warranty. It doesn't matter who or what caused the damage, or whether the owner was aware of it or not, the fact is (as the originator of this topic stated):
If Austin1971 wants to continue this discussion (and post his photos), so be it - but I think there has been some pretty clear and concise FACTS made by others here already - frames just don't fail under 'normal use'The pictures ( which I will attempt to upload!!!) show obvious damage
If rearviewmirror can't add anything positive to this topic, and feels the need to put people down who seem knowledgable, then might i suggest you keep your negativity to yourself?
And no.... I wouldn't want to be in Austin1971's situation either, and I can empathise with his frustrations. If the Supplier, the Retailer and the Customer all have faith in one another, I am sure something positive will come out of all of this
