I really enjoyed the ride today. If only UJ1 had been able to decipher the email you sent him it would have been 1.5 times as epic.

I have no idea about the Northern suburbs so I got lost on the way back. I did have a Melways in the basket but where's the fun in that? So I took the path next to the rail line, which took me into that big park where the zoo is. So I turned east up the "Capital City" trail naively thinking it would take me into the capital city. Nice trail though.
Anyway, the signs started to declare that Dights Falls were close which surprised me. I found myself at the Terminus pub, which had about a squillion bikes parked out front. Tempting, but I had to get home. So I started heading in what I thought was a southerly direction thinking I would meet up with Victoria Street and then I could head East again. But it turned out I was going southwest and then next thing I know I'm in Exhibition street. Well, at least I knew where I was now.
Average temp of 35C according to the Garmin. The bathroom scales tell me I lost 2.5kg in sweat.
