At present the Great Alpine Road is closed due to bushfires in the vicinity of Mt Hotham. We are monitoring conditions and at this stage do not know whether or not the Audax Hotham Challenge will proceed as planned on Sunday 10 March.
Our decision will be taken with the advice of Victoria Police, the Country Fire Authority and Vicroads and we do not anticipate making a definitive announcement before 1 March.
In the event that the Great Alpine Road remains closed, we will cancel the longer rides (200/ 135 km) and refund Ride Entry fees.
It is likely that the 70 km ride to Mt Buffalo will proceed as planned but if it is cancelled, we will refund Ride Entry fees.

road users should expect an extended period of roadworks.
