I was being pretty conservative in my estimations - no idea what speed they do really, could have been 60, could have been 110. All I know is that on the bends of the Reefton Spur, when you have these nutters' helmeted heads buzzing past only 15cms away from your shoulder, as they're banked at 40 degrees and you're riding upright, climbing the hill at 15kmh, the speed probably doesn't matter so much. Any speed is too fast when there are brain-dead goons steering the moto.
