Broke my Trek Front Deraillieur yesterday and so changed the Cannondale tyres to Michelin Pro Race 3's taht were in the cupboard.
Left late and saw the group head up Canterbury, and I was a little behind at the top of Canterbury.
Station St lights allowed me to join the back with Harry Hills and the pace was very recovery...
MadGDB left the front and joined the back with comments about the pace.
Along whitehorse the pace was moderate and after Springvale the group aligned to the left and an opportunity to ride at my pace without the group was taken.
Missed a number of lights but did catch MrsWAK up Col de Westfield and then saw Grunter express down Elgar at a great rate of knots.
Up Belmore and without stopping for a regroup got to see WAK at Canterbury and arrived home at 7:00 in time to get organised for work.
Great ride and day.
