There needs to be a better understanding that recovery days are not for fast riding but moderate pace. Leave the testosterone at home on these days young men.

That's my take anyway.
No, it was me having been very patient to that time, knowing that I needed to leave the bunch and head for home.
I did hear some mumble about headwind but paid no attention, as I assumed that with me heading off it was your turn at the front.
I think we can excuse Ness for thinking HarryHills and I were setting a fast pace Wed since he joined late. I myself was actually pulling the pace back from some over eager starters... trying to keep it a recovery vs. testosterone fest. My legs were in no shape to push after the weekend (hurtin' for certain). Good pace this morning BTW and great ride before the weather has moved in...
