The real test of whether you have got it right apart from obvious first impressions is to fang it down a gravel road descent and see how well it rides without putting you on edge. my CX held the tracks really well so knew I had a winner that I could trust at speed. The Ti compliance should also give you some nice feedback on the dirt especially when going into and out of sweeping corners. could you post a link to the site you got the frame from? good luck.

* Velocity Aerohead OC. Velocity store has them for US$72.99 each. Upfront Cycles (just out of Adelaide) has 32h purple ones for A$22.95 each if you buy 4. I really like purple, and I'm sure I'll find a use for the other two
